Hey, where did everybody go?
It happened. I fell off the Twitter Bus. Gasp!
You know, it’s fun running with the hip and happening crowd but when you stay home sick a few times, they move on without you. Don’t get me wrong I’m catching up and as much as everything happens for a reason; there’s always some responsibility that goes with it.
I got tired. Tweets became predictable and I just wasn’t as excited as I used to be about it. Maybe it was because my own product offering didn’t feel hip enough or I just plain ‘ol needed a rest to rejuvenate. Either way, it has been an interesting exercise in community though. So who really noticed? A handful of people that are now community leaders in my mind. You know who you are and thank you for checking in and pulling me back in.
For those of you entering this realm of community interaction and building; keep it real. You never know when you’ll need a few good friends.
